Shahroud finds beauty in everyday things and her surroundings. She is intrigued by nature and its amazing shapes and the forms it creates.She seeks to reflect these natural forms in her art. It is not her desire to copy nature with exact verisimilitude, instead she attempts to grasp its essence and interpret it through her visual vocabulary.
